Filipino Supermarket FilStop Officially Opens Thursday In Clifton

CLIFTON, NJ – FilStop, a Filipino grocery store, will officially open its new, 16,000-square-foot flagship store in Clifton on Thursday morning.
A grand opening event will begin at 10 a.m. in the new store, which is located at 1006 Route 46, Clifton. In addition to product samples, there will also be a special appearance at noon by Geneva Cruz, a singer and actress.
A soft opening was held this summer at the new location.

The new store will offer a variety of packaged and freshly-prepared Filipino food, canned goods, condiments, instant soups, noodles, rice, and snacks. There will also be a cafeteria area with seating for more than 80 people.
FilStop’s first store was opened more than 40 years ago in Jersey City, making the supermarket the city’s oldest Philippine grocery store. FilStop will continue operating its original, 4,000-square-foot Jersey City store.

The store will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., daily.
