Group Swim Lessons Begin In New Year At Wayne Community Center

Lessons are available at multiple levels for parents and children, students from pre-school through high school, and adults.

WAYNE, NJ — Group swimming lessons begin at the Wayne Township Community Center in the new year, for residents and families who want to learn new skills or practice their favorite swimming styles.

Lessons are available at multiple levels and age groups, from parents who want to introduce their babies to water, to children and teenagers, all the way up to adults. Members, non-members, residents, and non-residents may all sign up.

The eight-week group sessions are 30 minutes, beginning on Monday, Jan. 6 and running through March 1.

Assessments are required for all applicants before they sign up; there are assessment sessions on Friday, Dec. 27 and Friday, Jan. 3 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the community center (1 Pike Drive, Wayne NJ).

Pricing is as follows: $64 for premium members, $96 for standard members, and $128 for non-members.
