Gucci's Parent Company, Kering, Coming To Wayne: Mayor
The luxury retail company will have a 480,000-square-foot distribution center on Totowa Road and bringing 350 jobs to town.

WAYNE, NJ — Kering, an international luxury retail group and the parent company of Gucci, will be coming to Totowa Road and bringing 350 jobs to town.
Kering will use a new 460,000 square-foot warehouse distribution center at 150 Totowa Road. The property has 224 parking spaces for vehicles and 66 parking spaces for tractor-trailers.
Mayor Chris Vergano announced the move. He said he was "pleased" Kering chose to come to Wayne.

The front part of the building along Totowa Road will be multiple offices. The back of the building will be a distribution center.
"Kering has over 30,000 employees worldwide and we welcome them to our community," Vergano said. "They should be moving in the first quarter of 2020."

The move is part of a massive redevelopment taking place in Wayne.
Construction projects include the redevelopment of the former Wayne Hills Mall site, construction of a Whole Foods on Valley Road where A&P used to be, a luxury movie theater at the Willowbrook Mall, and a Lightbridge Academy daycare center.
Besides Gucci, Kering owns luxury brands: Saint Laurent, Alexaner McQueen, Boucheron, and DoDo.
