Here Is What You Can Expect At Wayne Day Sunday

Live demonstrations, food from local restaurants, carnival rides and a petting zoo — there will be something for everyone at the free event.

WAYNE, NJ — The annual Wayne Day celebration is Sunday.

More than 100 local civic organizations, businesses, government agencies, nonprofits and houses of worship will have booths spread out throughout the athletic field behind Wayne Valley High School from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Many of the booths will have activities for adults and kids. There will be live music. Children's carnival rides will cost a small fee to ride.

Several Wayne restaurants will sell their food and there will be low-priced children's carnival rides. There will be free pony rides and a petting zoo.

The Wayne Volunteer First Aid Squad will perform extrication demonstrations and the fire department will display its firetrucks and other vehicles.
