Hope One Mobile Recovery Headed To Wayne
Those in need of help with addiction, mental illness and information on social programs should visit.
WAYNE, NJ - Passaic Hope One Mobile Unit is coming to Wayne from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28.
Passaic County Hope One is a Mobile Recovery Unit intended to reduce substance use disorder and help individuals with mental illness access appropriate treatment and resources, and support individuals on their path to recovery. It is staffed with a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist, a Mental Health Professional trained as a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist and a plain clothed Sheriff’s Officer. Services are provided two days a week at various, pre-determined locations, throughout Passaic County, to ensure that those in need have access to resources.
Services offered include:

- Substance use disorder support
- Mental illness support for individuals, families, friends and loved ones
- Linkage to services and resources, including housing; social services (i.e., food cards, identification)
- Navigation to treatment for substance use disorder (including medication treatment) and mental illness
- Distribution of harm reduction kits; homeless outreach care packs
- Training and distribution of Naloxone rescue kits for eligible individuals
