WAYNE, NJ — The typical home value in Wayne rose 8.3 percent over the last year and is approaching $700,000, according to the most recent Zillow data.

As of Nov. 30, the average Wayne home value was $692,228, up 8.3 percent from that point in 2023 (when values were $638,908). In comparison, Zillow predicts that home values will go rise by only 1.1 percent over the next 12 months.

Homes for sale in Wayne Township go to pending in around 18 days, per Zillow.

Other real estate analysts predict some relief in 2025 and 2026 for buyers who have been squeezed by increasing prices, along with stabilizing mortgage rates. Inventory of new homes is also increasing, according to the National Association of Realtors.
