Top-Charting Country Singer To Perform Christmas Show In Wayne

The record-breaking Christmas show is raising money and collecting donations for Toys for Tots.

WAYNE, NJ — A famous singer will be bringing her record-breaking Christmas concert in Wayne this week.

Jessica Lynn, of New York, will be coming to William Paterson University to perform her seasonal show: “A Very Merry Classic Christmas.”

The country singer will be switching up her usual country vibe for traditional Christmas classics like “It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year,” “You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch,” “All I Want for Christmas Is You,” and many more.

The record-breaking show has several awards and recognitions, including being named the “#1 Great Thing to do in The Hudson Valley for The Holidays,” “Best of Westchester,” and “Best of Hudson Valley.”

“Jessica Lynn’s record-breaking and award-winning ‘A Very Merry Classic Christmas’ has become a genuine holiday tradition, rivaling, and even eclipsing some of the biggest Christmas spectaculars,” a WPU statement read. “A sell-out performance every year, the show is a full multi-media presentation featuring dancers, choirs, surprises, and special FX. With all of the traditional holiday songs you know and love, people of all ages become a part of the show and experience the magic of Christmas.”

The show will be on Wednesday at 7 p.m. at the Shea Center for Performing Arts. Tickets are going fast and can be bought online here.

The show is also raising money and collecting donations for Toys for Tots, and guests are asked to bring in unwrapped toys for children in need this holiday season.

Lynn, 35, is a top-charting country artist whose debut album, “Lone Rider,” reached number one on the digital country charts in the US and UK. She’s written songs including “Bet On It,” “Something ‘Bout You,” and even her own Christmas tune, “Santa You Can Skip Our House.”
