Baby Girl Found Dead At Wayne Hotel, Officials Say
Police found the 7-month-old child unresponsive at the hotel on Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
WAYNE, NJ — A 7-month-old girl was found dead in a Wayne hotel room on Wednesday afternoon, where officials said they located a "possible crime scene."
Officers were called to the Days Inn near Black Oak Ridge and Ratzer roads just before 1:45 p.m. "on a report of a deceased infant," according to Wayne PD and the Passaic County Prosecutor.
"Upon arrival, the police located a possible crime scene and a 7-month-old infant, who was subsequently pronounced dead," officials said.

No arrests have been announced as of early Thursday afternoon, and officials said they are actively investigating the baby girl's death.
