It's Almost Wayne Day: See What's Happening At Annual Community Event
Neighbors and local organizations/groups will come together on Sept. 22 for music, food, fun, and a celebration of all Wayne has to offer.

WAYNE, NJ — Autumn begins on Sunday, and the township will get the season off to a celebratory start as residents and community groups come together for annual Wayne Day .
This annual festival is a celebration of all things Wayne, where neighbors can check out what local clubs, religious organizations, and businesses have to offer. There will be more than 100 booths set up at the event, with each community group offering a fun activity for residents of all ages.
Attendees can also enjoy live music, carnival rides, a petting zoo, and other attractions.

Wayne Day is is on Sunday, Sept. 22 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., rain or shine, on the fields behind Town Hall (475 Valley Road). Admission is free, and all children's carnival ride tickets are $1; food truck concessions are also available.
The classic rock group Till We Can't, which has performed around North Jersey for more than a decade, will be first up on stage. Then, The Ladies of the 80's band will showcase some of the best of female artists from that decade.

The Wayne Fire Department will be showing many of their fire trucks and equipment, and the Wayne First Aid Squad will also be on hand to visit with neighbors.
