Letter to the Editor About Fatal Accidents in Wayne: 'It's ... time to call Wayne ... for what it is.'
Wayne is "liable and culpable for maintaining an attractive nuisance(s) that has demonstrably resulted in needless and avoidable death[s].."

Dear Editor,
Road Warrior:
It’s happened again here in Wayne, NJ where an individual has lost their life due to the townships appalling lack of vision and determination and leadership to safe guard the public while traveling.

Last week it was a 72-year-old woman struck and killed while walking down a street in a town where sidewalks are the exception and not the rule. Sunday it was a motorist that struck a power pole in a town where such utility poles are placed within a yard of the roadways as a matter of routine.
While on this block of New Street, the power lines are below ground in a greater neighborhood where they are not and trees grow through those lines un abated and contribute to power outages during inclement weather.

It is high time to call Wayne Township for what it is: liable and culpable for maintaining an attractive nuisance(s) that has demonstrably resulted in arguably needless and avoidable death in these two latest examples.
