Man Found Dead In Passaic County Home After Fire
The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office is investigating a fire that broke out at a home at 4th Avenue and Lafayette Avenue.
PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of a fire that wrecked a home in Hawthorne on Thursday night.
A man's body was found in the home once the fire was extinguished, Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes said.
The man's identity has not been released, police said.

According to Hawthorne Police Chief James W. Knepper, at approximately 9:03 p.m. on Thursday, the local police department was dispatched to a reported fire in the area of 4th Avenue and Lafayette Avenue.
The origin and cause of the fire are still under investigation, Valdes said.
