NJ Massage Parlor Raids End In Prostitution Arrests

More than $13,000 of suspected prostitution money was recovered, according to authorities.

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A months-long investigation regarding prostitution in local massage parlors has led police to suspects in Passaic County, police said.

The joint investigation was conducted by the Woodland Park Police Department and the Passaic County Prosecutor’s Office. According to Woodland Park police, officers have received several complaints over the last few months regarding prostitution at local massage parlors and spas.

Last Wednesday, the following Woodland Park establishments were investigated for prostitution and subsequently raided:

  • Beauty Medical Center, 281 Browertown Road
  • Eastern Cozy Spa, 271 Overmount Avenue
  • Sunlight Spa, 1000 McBride Avenue

Four individuals were arrested for prostitution, and more than $13,600 in suspected prostitution money was seized, police said.

Ling Jiang, 64, of Woodland Park, was arrested at Eastern Cozy Spa and charged with promoting prostitution. Haili Wang, 39, of Woodland Park, was also arrested at Eastern Cozy Spa and charged with soliciting prostitution.

Kyung Ja Kim, 63, of Woodland Park, was arrested at Sunlight Spa and charged with soliciting and promoting prostitution.

Susan Dayana Morales Roa, 35, of Ridgefield Park, was arrested at Beauty Medical Center Spa and charged with soliciting and promoting prostitution.

This was the first of another massage parlor prostitution bust that week, with a spa getting raided in Morris County just days later.
