Mediterranean Restaurant CAVA Opening In Wayne This Month

The restaurant serves customizable salads and grain bowls and will have outdoor seating.

WAYNE, NJ — CAVA, a Mediterranean fast-casual restaurant, will open a location in Wayne July 20.

The restaurant will be at the West Belt Plaza on Willowbrook Boulevard, next to the Willowbrook Mall.

It will be CAVA's fourth New Jersey location and the first one in Passaic County. The others are in Bridgewater, Jersey City, and Paramus. Free meals will be given to the first 150 guests starting at 10:45 a.m.

CAVA's menu features customizable salads, grain bowls, along with a selection of dips and spreads like roasted red pepper hummus, and braised and grilled meats like chicken, lamb, and meatballs. The restaurant will offer outdoor seating.

CAVA will donate part of its opening day sales, and will be accepting donations, for Grow to Learn, a New York City-based nonprofit that works to bring gardens to urban schools.

Shake Shack opened in the nearby Wayne Towne Center in February.
