Woman, 23, Shot In North Jersey

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A Passaic County woman was shot early Monday morning in Paterson, police said.
On Monday, just before 12:30 a.m., police responded to shots fired near 12th Avenue and Auburn Street.
Authorities later learned that a woman, 23, from Hewitt, had been admitted into a nearby hospital to be treated for a gunshot wound.

Authorities established a crime scene and determined that she was shot in the area of 12th Avenue and Auburn Street.
