Motorcyclist Critically Injured In Route 46 Crash: Prosecutor

PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — A man is in critical condition after his motorcycle crashed on Route 46 Sunday afternoon, authorities said.

James Kopec of Totowa was driving his 2015 Honda VT7 on Route 46 East near Fette Ford in Clifton when he lost control of the motorcycle, and he was thrown from it, said Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia Valdes.

Police responded to the crash at 12:39 p.m. Kopec was taken to St. Joseph's University Hospital with serious injuries. No other vehicles were involved.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the crash.
