Names Of Wayne Priests Accused Of Sex Abuse Disclosed
The men were among 100 more priests and clergy with New Jersey ties whose names were released in a new disclosure recently.
WAYNE, NJ — The names of priests who served in Wayne were included in a list of more than 100 clergy who have been accused of sexual abuse.
Rev. James Tully was assigned to Xaverian Missionary Fathers in Wayne from 2008 to 2009.
Rev. Thomas Rainforth worked at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital from 2011 to 2015. Before that, he served at several churches in Paterson, Clifton, and Ringwood. He retired n 2017.

The law firm of Jeff Anderson & Associates released a report containing the names and histories of more than 300 people accused of sexual misconduct in the Archdiocese of Newark, Diocese of Camden, Diocese of Metuchen, Diocese of Paterson and Diocese of Trenton.
Patch only identified those who were formally accused by law enforcement, Jesuits or the Catholic church of sexual abuse. Patch is also only listing names not previously disclosed.

Nearly 200 names on the new clergy list were already named by the Catholic church earlier this year. The new disclosure contains more than 100 names of people that were not previously released.
