Newsweek Columnist To Give William Paterson Commencement Address

WAYNE, NJ — Jonathan Alter, an award-winning author, columnist, and political analyst will give the keynote address at William Paterson University undergraduate commencement address May 15.
More than 2,300 bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degree candidates are expected to be recognized at the ceremony.
Alter was a columnist and senior editor at Newsweek for 28 years. He is now a columnist for The Daily Beast. He co-hosts "Alter Family Politics" with his wife and three kids on SiriusXM.

Alter is working on a full-length biography of former President Jimmy Carter.
In 2019, Alter co-produced and co-directed the HBO documentary "Breslin and Hamill: Deadline Artists."
