Next Free Shred Event In Wayne Township Is Saturday

Wayne Township residents can safely dispose of confidential papers at the next shredding event - see more details below.

WAYNE, NJ — If you've found some old papers you'd like to get rid of while doing spring cleaning this year, Wayne Township is holding a free shredding event this weekend.

This allows residents to destroy confidential documents safely and securely. The event will be held on Saturday, April 13 at the Wayne Municipal Building's front parking lot (475 Valley Road) from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., said township officials.

The event will take place rain or shine. Residents must show proof that they live in the township, and are allowed the equivalent of four banker boxes' worth of documents.
