Patient, 72, Charged With Groping Medical Office Employee: Wayne PD

The Wayne man reportedly groped the woman and kissed her, told her to "be quiet about it" when she told him to stop, then left the office.

WAYNE, NJ — A Wayne resident is accused of groping an employee during a visit to a local medical office, and officials said he has been arrested for "a similar incident" before.

Detectives arrested Mujic Fehim, 72, at his home Monday after speaking with the employee at police headquarters, officials said.

According to Det. Captain Dan Daly, Wayne police officers responded to an unnamed medical office on Monday afternoon after the reported assault. The officers spoke with a female employee who was "visibly shaken," and told them she was in a room with a male patient "when he suddenly groped her by grabbing her breast and kissed her."

When the woman told him to stop, the man "told her to be quiet about it and left the office," police said. She immediately told other employees, who called Wayne PD.

The woman agreed to go to police headquarters to give a statement of what happened, and provide the suspect's information. After identifying him as Fehim, police said that a check of his criminal history "revealed a prior arrest for a similar incident."
