Pompton Lakes cops scored major points this weekend when the officers took a few minutes to play a pick-up game of basketball with teens.

POMPTON LAKES, NJ - Pompton Lakes cops scored major points this weekend when the officers took some time out to play a pick-up game of basketball with local teens.
Sgt. Joe Ruffo, Officer Ed Bartlett and Officer John Logreco were dispatched to Lakeside Middle School after receiving a report of a group of juveniles under the influence and noisy, the department said.
After further investigation determined the kids weren’t intoxicated, the officers decided to take to the court for a quick game with the kids. According to the department, Logreco’s team beat Ruffo’s, 5-4.
