Recycle Clothing, Medical Sharps At Events In Passaic Co. This Weekend
There are two recycling collections this weekend, and the next free shredding event for Wayne residents is coming up soon. See more details:
PASSAIC COUNTY, NJ — There are opportunities this weekend in Passaic County to recycle clothing and textiles, and also to discard medical sharps.
These free events allow residents to help keep clothing and accessories out of landfills, and to safely dispose of medical syringes and EpiPens.
The Passaic County Board of County Commissioners and the Passaic County Office of Solid Waste & Recycling are organizing the collections.

Residents must provide proof that they live in the county. Here are the details for both events:

- Saturday, Sept. 7 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Little Falls Municipal Building, 225 Main Street, Little Falls (enter on Union Ave.)
- Sunday, Sept. 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the West Milford Department of Public Works, 30 Lycosky Drive, West Milford
Medical sharps must be brought in a rigid container with a lid. This collection is for individual households only, not doctor's offices.
