Retired Army Sgt. Had 1,500+ Child Porn Files: Passaic Sheriff
Alexander Radics of Passaic County had more than 1,000 photos and more than 1,500 files of child pornography, authorities said.

A Passaic County man was arrested on several child pornography-related charges during an investigation by the Passaic County Sheriff's Office.
The sheriff's office Internet Crime Against Children Task Force received several reports regarding someone distributing files of child pornography on the internet, said Sheriff Richard Berdnik.
Sheriff's detectives searched Alexander Radics' Bloomingdale home and found more than 1,000 photos of children engaged in sexual acts and in "highly suggestive" poses, Berdnik said.

"I consider this one of the larger child pornography cases Passaic County has seen in recent years," Berdnik said.
Radics is a retired sergeant with the Army Reserve, Berdnik said. He is a licensed practical nurse by the Veterans Affairs New Jersey Health Care System.
Radics was charged with manufacturing of child pornography, maintaining child pornography, distribution of child pornography, two counts of possession of child pornography, unlawful possession of a weapon, and obstruction, Berdnik said.
The Passaic County Prosecutor's Office assisted with the arrest.
