Teaneck Man Triggered Burglar Alarm At Wayne Store: Police
Police were called to STS Tire on Hamburg Turnpike early Monday morning.
WAYNE, NJ - A 30-year-old Teaneck man faces charges after police say he broke into an automotive parts and supply business in Wayne Monday morning and triggered the store’s burglar alarm.
Camden Yearwood was charged with one count of burglary, two counts of motor vehicle burglary and two counts of theft in connection with the early morning break-in at STS Tire on Hamburg Turnpike, according to Det. Captain Christian Wittig.
Shortly before 6:30 a.m., officers were called to STS Tire on a report of an activated burglar alarm, where they found an unoccupied running car with an open door outside, Wittig said.

Officer Christie Ohlendorf, along with Officer Darren Williams and Cpl. Gerald Lehman, conducted an investigation and discovered Yearwood was still inside the building, Wittig said.
He was arrested and transported to Passaic County Jail, the captain said.

In addition to burglary and theft charges, Yearwood was cited for possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of paraphernalia, Wittig said.
