Teen, 90-Year-Old Hospitalized In Passaic Triple Shooting: Prosecutor
A 71-year-old was also taken to the hospital after a shooting Friday evening, said officials.
PASSAIC, NJ — Officials are investigating a shooting in Passaic that injured a 13-year-old child, as well as a 71-year-old woman and a 90-year-old man.
Police received a 911 call of shots fired near Aspen Place and Columbia Avenue at around 7:20 p.m. on Friday, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office and city police. Officers arrived to the scene, and found the three victims injured nearby.
First responders took all three people to St. Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson with non-fatal gunshot wounds, said officials. Police also located a "potential crime scene" in the area, according to a news release from Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes and Police Chief Luis Guzman.
