The Relief Bus, a 20-year-old organization, operates out of school buses that have been repurposed into mobile resource centers to help homeless, destitute, substance abusers, unemployed and anyone in need within the metropolitan area.

The buses are customized to serve soup and fresh bread out of one window. There's also space for counseling/referral offices which connect those in need to vital resources such as shelter, food, job training, detox, and drug or alcohol rehabilitation.
