Wayne Closings, Cancellations During 'Historic' Snowstorm

According to the National Weather Service, Wayne Township could see anywhere between 14 and 24 inches of snow blanket the area between Monday and Wednesday.
With that comes school and business closings, road detours, power outages and so on.
Use this post as your one-stop-shop for all that information, which will be constantly updated throughout the duration of the storm. - All Wayne Public schools will have an early dismissal Monday, Jan. 26.
Monday, 12:39 p.m.
- Wayne Public Library and the Preakness Branch Library will be closing at 4:30 p.m. Monday.
- Solid waste and recycling are canceled Tuesday.
- The Recycling Center will be closed Tuesday.
Monday, 2:20 p.m.
- Parks & Rec Elementary Ski Program scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 27, has been postponed. The make-up date will be Feb. 10.
Monday, 4:15 p.m.
- The Wayne Township Senior Bus Service will not be running on Tuesday.
- Wayne Recreation Ice Skating Lessons are cancelled for Monday.
- Monday Yoga classes and Tuesday Looking Classes are cancelled.
- Wayne Recreation Wrestling has been postponed for Monday.
- Board of Education: Wayne Township Public Schools will be closed on Tuesday.

- The Wayne Township Municipal Building will be closed Tuesday.
Monday, 7:12 p.m.
- The Wayne Public Library will be closed Tuesday.
