WAYNE, NJ – After a long campaign season, Election Day 2019 is finally here.
There are a number of races on the ballot this November, including the school board and town council.

What will be on the ballot?
On Election Day in Wayne, council seats in five of the township’s six wards will be contested.
Two open terms on the board of education are not being challenged.

Two seats on the Board of Chosen Freeholders are up for election. Democratic incumbents Terry Duffy and Pat LePore, along with Republican Maria Giammona, have filed to run.
Passaic County voters will also be electing a new sheriff. Current sheriff Richard Berdnik, a Democrat, is being challenged by Republican Darren Woolridge.
In District 40, Republican Assembly members Kevin Rooney and Christopher DePhillips are running for re-election and being challenged by Democrats Julie O’Brien and Maria Martini Cordonnier.

Where do I vote?
Your polling place is included on a sample ballot mailed out to all registered voters. If you're still not sure, or you misplaced that sample ballot, you can look up your polling location on the New Jersey Division of Election's website.
When can I vote?
Election Day 2019 is Tuesday, Nov. 5. Polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
