Fatal Crash In Wayne Tuesday Closes Road Into Wednesday Morning: PD

Part of the road was still closed on Wednesday morning, as authorities continue to investigate a fatal crash Tuesday.

WAYNE, NJ — Officials say a deadly crash took place Tuesday on Parish Drive in Wayne Township.

Township police referred further inquiries to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office, who will lead the crash investigation.

Parish Drive was closed between the junction with Maple Avenue and the intersection of French Hill Road just before 8 a.m. Tuesday. The road closure was still active as of 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, according to the township traffic advisory map.

Officials have not said how long the roadway might be closed, or given any information on how many vehicles were involved.
