Wayne Library To Host Passaic County Bomb Squad Demo

The one-hour program is scheduled for Sept. 11 at 12:30 p.m.

WAYNE, NJ – As part of Wayne Public Library’s “Lunchbox Learning Program,” members of the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department Bomb Squad will conduct a demonstration of the work it does to keep the public safe.

The one-hour program is scheduledfor Sept. 11 at 12:30 p.m.

To mark the anniversary of 9/11, the library said it arranged for a program “that demonstrates some of the things that our first responders do to protect us.”

After introducing themselves and how they operate, the unit will give a demonstration of its bomb detection robot, according to the library.

Attendees are invited to bring their own lunches. Prior to the program, coffee, tea and cookies will be available at noon.

The library is located at 461 Valley Rd, Wayne.
