Wayne Man Steals Large Amounts of Copper Pipes and Plates, Police Say
Police say the materials were taken from an abandoned fenced-in facility owned by Passaic County.

A Wayne man was arrested in Haledon Monday after police say he stole copper pipes and plates from an abandoned fenced-in Passaic County facility.
A Passaic County Sheriff’s Officer responded to a report of a suspicious person at a residence on Reinhardt Road in Haledon and saw Timothy Lindstrom, 24, of Wayne, “loading a large quantity of copper pipe and copper plates into his 2012 Hyundai,“ NorthJersey.com reported.
Lindstrom’s vehicle was impounded and he was arrested and charged with burglary and theft of property.
