Wayne MVC To Close Oct. 15-17 Ahead Of Opening New Facilities
The Wayne licensing center, road test site, and inspection station will be closed to customers for all three days.
WAYNE, NJ — All motor vehicle commission facilities in Wayne will be closed on Oct. 15, Oct. 16 and Oct. 17 as workers finalize construction and prepare to open newly built facilities on the same site, according to the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission.
The Wayne licensing center, road test site, and inspection station will be closed to customers for all three days, as staff prepares for the final move, MVC officials said.
The new facilities being constructed at Wayne are larger and feature many upgrades, promising improved capacity and service at one of the busiest MVC locations.

Customers are advised to visit nearby MVC locations for license transactions, road tests, and inspections from Oct. 15-17.
Customers whose road test appointments are canceled due to the closure at Wayne will receive priority handling the week of October 19th at any MVC road test site.
