Wayne PD: Woman Stuffed Over $200 Worth of Old Navy Clothing into Purse

Police say a 30-year-old woman was arrested last week after she allegedly attempted to steal over $200 worth of clothing from a store in Willowbrook Mall.

Tamika Campbell was being detained by Old Navy Loss Prevention on March 9 after she was observed “shoplifting various children’s items valued at approximately $229.10” and stuffing the items into her purse, Wayne Captain Laurence Martin said.

Wayne Police arrested Campbell and transported her to police headquarters, where she was later released on a summons.
