Wayne Police Arrest Women Carrying 100 Bags of Heroin
In addition to the 100 glassine bags, police also found six empty envelopes in the vehicle.

A traffic stop turned into a drug bust after Wayne Police say two females were in possession of 100 bags of suspected heroin.
Jacqueline Thompson, 23, of Franklin, and Brittany Jamieson, 23, of Hamburg, were pulled over on Route 23 Saturday night by Wayne Police for having obstructed plates, Wayne Police Captain Laurence Martin said.
While interviewing the vehicle’s occupants, police saw Thompson “attempt to conceal something in her pants” and witnessed Jamieson “pull an object from her pants and toss 44 glassine envelopes back into the front passenger area of the vehicle,” Captain Martin said.

Police determined Thompson had “50 glassine envelopes bundled together in her pants,” and all together, ”the two women were in possession of 100 glassine bags of suspected heroin labeled ’Deep Impact.’” Police also found an additional 6 empty envelopes.
Thompson was charged with possession of heroin, while Jamieson was charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The operator of the vehicle, who was not identified in the police report, was issued a motor vehicle summons for having obstructed plates.
