Wayne Public Schools to Have Delayed Opening Monday

The wintry precipitation is expected to have a significant impact on the monday morning commute.

Wayne Public Schools will have a delayed opening Monday, Feb. 2 after the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning that went into effect at 7 p.m. Sunday, and will expire 1 p.m. Monday.

“This Winter Storm Warning means that significant amounts of snow, sleet and ice are expected, making travel very hazardous,” according to the NWS. The wintry precipitation is expected to have a significant impact on the monday morning commute.

Also following a delayed opening in Wayne are Apple Montessori and Happy Day Learning Center.
