Every auditorium also has Cinemark's "Luxury Lounger" which are "plush, ergonomic heated recliners" that come complete with snack tables and foot rests.

The township planning board in 2017 approved the theater and it's one of several new businesses in Willowbrook Mall. Other new arrivals include Dave & Buster's, Buffalo Wild Wings, P.F. Chang's and Shake Shack.

Cinemark is the third largest movie theater chain in the country. In New Jersey, it has theaters in Hazlet, Somerdale and Watchung.

A pre-opening VIP event is scheduled for Nov. 20, featuring a “ticket tearing” ceremony with Cinemark executives and Passaic County officials, as well as a movie screening, the chain said.
