CLIFTON, NJ — There's a winner in the $23.2 million Powerball jackpot from the drawing held Saturday night, and the ticket was sold in New Jersey.

The winning numbers were 05, 08, 17, 27 and 28. The Red Power Ball number was 14, and the multiplier number was 03.

Carey said the winner should sign the back of the ticket, make a copy of both sides and put it in a safe place, recommending the winner contact a financial advisor and attorney before turning in the ticket.

Two tickets sold in the Saturday drawing claimed the second-tier prize by matching all five white balls. One was purchased with Power Play at the Quick Check #183 at 26 Route 206 in Stanhope and is worth $2 million. The other, worth $1 million, was bought at the same Quick Mart that sold the ticket to the jackpot winner.

Three winners matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball, and can claim the $50,000 third-tier prize. Those tickets were sold at Atlantic City Gasoline in Atlantic City, the In & Out Convenience Store in Bellmawr and the Little Silver Pharmacy in Little Silver.

The jackpot winner has been asked to call lottery officials at 1-800-222-0996 to arrange to file a claim for the prize.

The Quick Mart will receive a $30,000 bonus commission for selling the winning jackpot ticket. The Powerball jackpot now resets to $20 million for the next drawing set for Wednesday.
