Woman Found Fatally Stabbed In Passaic County

PATERSON, NJ — A 70-year-old woman was found stabbed to death Tuesday inside a Paterson home, according to the Passaic County Prosecutor's Office.

Authorities said the Paterson Police Department responded to a residence in the area of Cianci and Market streets shortly before 2:20 p.m. after receiving a call about a stabbing.

When police arrived at the home, they found the woman suffering from multiple stab wounds.

The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

No suspect was in custody Wednesday and the incident remains under investigation.
