Primary Elections 2019: Who's On The Ballot In West Windsor?

There is a contested primary in the District 15 State Assembly race.

WEST WINDSOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — Tuesday, June 4 is Primary Day in New Jersey, and there is a contested primary for the State Assembly seats in District 15.

Incumbent Democrats Verlina Reynolds-Jackson and Anthony S. Verrelli are running for re-election. Alex Bathea is also running in the Democratic Primary, in Column B under the slogan “Integrity, Transparency and Accountability.” Republican Jennifer Williams will run for her party’s nomination unopposed.

Locally, there are no municipal elections.

Democrats Andrew Koontz and Nina Melker are virtually locks to be re-elected to the Board of Chosen Freeholders. They are running unopposed in Tuesday’s primary, and no Republicans have filed petitions to run in the fall.

Tuesday is also the deadline for third-party candidates to file petitions to run for office. The deadline is 4 p.m. For a list of polling locations in West Windsor Township, click here.
