295 Crash Snarls Northbound Traffic Wednesday Night
The crash happened just after 9 p.m. No one was seriously injured, said New Jersey state troopers at the scene.
A two-vehicle crash on Route 295 narrowed the northbound side of the highway to one lane near Exit 22 in West Deptford just after 9 p.m. Wednesday night.
The wreck, which involved a commercial vehicle, spilled about 35 gallons of diesel, according to initial radio reports, and left debris scattered on the roadway.
At the scene, New Jersey state troopers said that one driver suffered minor abrasions and that both vehicles were totaled in the wreck.
Crews were still working to clear the lanes almost two hours after the incident.
