Deptford Residential Fire Under Investigation: Officials

DEPTFORD, NJ - A residential fire in the North Woodbury section of Deptford Township on Wednesday is currently under investigation by municipal fire officials.

Shortly before 6 p.m., multiple callers reported smoke coming from the house on the 1100 block of Broadway, fire officials from Union Fire Company said in a statement.

“Crews made an aggressive attack and the fire was under control within an hour,” the fire company said.

Units from Deptford, Woodbury and West Deptford assisted at the scene, fire officials added.

No injuries were reported in connection with the fire. The incident is under investigation by the Deptford Fire Marshal's Office.
