Gloucester Co. Residential Fire Under Investigation: Officials

PAULSBORO, NJ - A Gloucester County fire that displaced a family of four on Monday is under investigation, authorities said.

The blaze was reported on the 500 block of Greenwich Avenue in Paulsboro, Paulsboro fire officials said in a Facebook post.

Mutual aid companies from Gibbstown, East Greenwich, West Deptford, Logan and Mantua, as well as cover companies from Westville and National Park, helped with fire control at the scene, Paulsboro fire officials said.

The displaced family of four was provided with temporary lodging, food, clothing and other immediate needs from the New Jersey Red Cross.

The fire remains under investigation by the Gloucester County Fire Marshal’s Office, fire officials said. It’s not immediately clear if the fire was deemed suspicious in nature.
