DEPTFORD, NJ — Grocery Outlet, a chain of discount supermarkets, will soon open a new location in Deptford.
Grocery Outlet offers traditional brands at lower prices, acquiring items by scoping out overstocks, seasonal closeouts and other savings opportunities. The goods are sold through the company's network of independently operated stores throughout the country.
Deptford's location (1120 Hurffville Rd.) will open at 10 a.m. June 12, when a ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place.

Durent the event, store owners Jedidiah and Alexa Riconda will donate $1,000 to Hope for the Hungry.
Starting at 8 a.m., the first 100 customers will get a Grocery Outlet Bliss Buck gift card for mystery amounts ranging from $5 to $500. Shoppers will also receive a free re-usable bag with their purchase through opening week while supplies last.

Additionally, customers can enter to win $1,000 in free groceries from June 12 through July 11.
Grocery Outlet in Deptford will operate from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, according to the business's website.
