Human Remains in Submerged Car In South Jersey River: Cops
Divers discovered the body inside the car, and NJ police removed the car from the water.

SOUTH JERSEY – The New Jersey State Police say they have recovered human remains of an adult found in a car submerged in a New Jersey river.
The remains were discovered at approximately 12 p.m. on Thursday when divers were removing debris from the Salem River, police said.
The divers from Walker Diving Underwater Construction Co. were at the base of the Salem River in the area of West Broadway Road when they observed the submerged car, police said.

Members of the State Police Marine Services Bureau, Crime Scene and Major Crimes Units arrived on the scene to remove the car from the river and recover the remains of the deceased adult victim inside the vehicle, police said.
The remains were taken to the Southern Regional Coroner’s Office pending an autopsy, police said.
