NJ Transit Bus Leak Prompts County Hazmat Response In South Jersey
The spill closed several roads in the area for hours during recovery and fuel cleanup efforts, fire officials said.

WOODBURY, NJ - A New Jersey Transit bus leaking a “large amount” of diesel fuel onto the roadway prompted a hazmat response from Gloucester County officials on Thursday afternoon, officials said.
The material spill was reported at around 1:45 p.m. in Woodbury, with response from both the Woodbury Fire Department and Woodbury Police Department near 27 Cooper St, the fire department said.
At the scene, fire officials observed the bus disabled and leaking in the roadway. Officials believe the bus struck an object in the roadway, causing an immediate tank rupture.
