Damminger said. “Our Gloucester County community has been so helpful with collection donations and assisting with relief efforts. Gloucester County has since collected those donations and will begin disseminating to those in need,” said Director Robert M. Damminger. “This portal is an easy-to-use survey that will allow tornado victims to request donations to be delivered to their home or location of their choosing.”
Donations will be available at https://bit.ly/GCDonations. County officials ask that everyone remain patient while they fulfill requests. Those in need of help can also call 856-307-4805 between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency has approved a major disaster declaration for six New Jersey counties, including Gloucester, Gov. Phil Murphy announced.
This allows residents to register online for direct assistance for Ida-related recovery, which may include home repairs, temporary housing, low-cost loans, and other programs to help recover from the effects of the tropical storm.

Murphy also announced that the state has launched a data collection portal to gather data from impacted individuals outside the six counties where FEMA has declared the major disaster declaration, as FEMA and state officials continue to evaluate on the ground.
"Many residents of our state are facing a long road ahead as they recover from Ida," Murphy said. "I am very grateful to the Biden Administration and FEMA for their swift approval of the Major Disaster Declaration for six of our counties. I urge residents and business owners in those counties to visit FEMA's website and begin the application process."
