Rhode Island, Delaware Stay Alive at Eastern Regional
The two squads survive elimination day at the tournament at Union Field.

Korey Fijal and Mike Caparco hit back-to-back doubles to right center in the fourth inning to break a 1-1 tie and spark Johnston, RI to a 10-1 win over Allegany County, NY in an elimination bracket game Monday night at the Senior League Baseball East Regional.
Johnston will face Naamans Little League from Wilmington, DE in an elimination game at 12:30 on Tuesday. The winner of that game will play again at 7:30 pm.

Johnston scored two in the fourth, four in the fifth and three more in the sixth to put the game out of reach. Jake Podmaska, Nick Raposo and John Willette combined on a four-hitter in the prices. Raposo earned the win, hurling two relief innings and allowing just one hit.
Caparco finished 2-for-4 with there RBI and a run scored to lead Johnston's 12-hit attack.

C.J. Pierce had two of the four hits for Allegany County, a combination of Wellsville, Bolivar and Fillmore Little Leagues.
Naamans, DE 5, Caroline North, MD 1
Naamans Little League from Wilmington, DE got a combined two-hitter from Graham Haines, Richie Windon and Doug Ryan to lead the way in a 5-1 elimination bracket win over Caroline North, MD at the Senior League Baseball East Regional on Monday evening.
Naamans will play Tuesday at 12:30 pm against the winner of the final game of the day between Allegany County, NY and Johnston, RI.
Windon earned the win in relief, pitching three innings and allowing just one hit. Haines began the game, going 2-1/3 and allowing just one walk. Ryan closed it out with 1-2/3 inning of one-hit relief, surrendering an unearned run in the seventh.
Brandon McHugh went 2-for-4 with two RBIs to lead the Naamans offense. He had an RBI double as part of the two-run first and drove in an insurance run in the sixth with an RBI single.
Caronline North, MD 9, Glassboro 5
Caroline North, MD exploded for six runs in the fourth inning and three more in the fifth to eliminate Glassboro, NJ, 9-5, at the Senior League Baseball East Regional on Monday afternoon.
Glassboro scored twice in the third to draw first blood. Dom D'Alessandro smacked a two-run single to open the scoring. D'Alessandro finished the day 3-for-3.
But Caroline North came right back the next half inning. Consecutive bases loaded walks tied the score and then Devin Patrick cleared the bases with a three-run double to right center to make it 5-2.
Chris Gleockler made that hold up and earned the win on the hill. On a day when Caroline North needed an innings eater -- facing with the first of three possible doubleheaders the next three days -- Gleockler threw 99 pitches over 5-2/3 innings, allowing seven hits and striking out five. Just one of the four runs he allowed was earned.
Brady Wilkins paced Caroline North's 14-hit attack, going 3-for-3 with an RBI and two runs scored.
Allegany County, NY 11, Buena, NJ 2
Allegany County, NY scored nine times in the bottom of the sixth to bust a 2-2 tie wide open and eliminate Buena, NJ, 11-2, Monday afternoon at the Senior League Baseball East Regional.
Allegany County, which is a combination of Wellsville, Bolivar and Fillmore Little Leagues, took advantage of four errors in the inning as the wheels fell off for Buena. Reston Pettit had a bases-clearing double with a two-base error that plated three runs and made the score 7-2.
Pettit earned the win, going 6-2/3 innings before hitting the pitch count maximum. He allowed just two hits and walked one while striking out six. Gary Burdick came on to record the final out in relief.
Cole Tracy led the nine-hit attack for Allegany County, going 3-for-3 with a pair of RBIs and a run scored.
