Celebrate Union County, America's 250th Anniversary With TV Premiere Screening
The free trip through time and refreshments will give guests an early look at the show detailing the foundations of Union County.
UNION, NJ — Celebrate the 250th anniversary of America with a premiere screening of a PBS national TV feature on Union County on Saturday at the DMK Black Box Theater.
"Travels with Darley: Union County Revolutionary Road Trip" takes viewers through the First Presbyterian Church in Elizabeth, Patriot-era locations around Scotch Plains, Springfield, Plainfield, and more.
Battles, espionage, and culture take center stage in this free event followed by a panel discussion with host Darley Newman and a collection of scholars from around the region.

Light food and refreshments will also be served, according to Union Township.
Guests will be welcomed through the doors at 7 p.m., and the screening will begin at 8 p.m.
