Children's Specialized Hospital Names New Board of Trustee Leadership Roles
A Westfield man was among appointments for new leadership roles on the board of trustees.

The Children’s Specialized Hospital announced new appointments to various leadership roles to its Board of Trustees.
The Children’s Specialized Hospital said John Crisan, of Westfield, has been appointed chairman of the board of trustees of the Children’s Specialized Hospital Foundation.
“Children’s Specialized is a cause deeply important to me and my family,” Crisan said. “The purpose of the Foundation is to ensure financial stability so the Hospital can continue to treat children with complex medical needs for years to come. There are major challenges in health care facing our country and our state, and we are dedicated to the strength and success of Children’s Specialized Hospital and the Foundation.”

Crisan has been appointed to a three-year term as chairman. He previously served as Chief Compliance Officer at Johnson & Johnson, in New Brunswick, and as the General Counsel for their Consumer Group. He also served as a trustee for the Hospital Foundation for seven years and served on several committees, including the officer’s executive and compensation committees.
According to the Children’s Specialized Hospital, as chairman Crisan aims to increase financial support from corporations, foundations and community partners.

The Children’s Specialized Hospital also announced several other new leadership roles for the Board of Trustees, including Michael Harrison to vice chairman, Kim Hanemann to secretary and Stella Matteace-Esposito to treasurer.
