According to the Westfield Police Department: Westfield Police Chief David C. Wayman advises the annual Downtown Westfield Corporation's 5K Pizza Run will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 22. In order to accommodate this event, there will be temporary road closures beginning at approximately 6:30 p.m. until completion of the race. The following streets are subject to temporary closure: - E Broad Street - N Euclid Avenue - Park Drive - Lawrence Avenue - Sylvania Place - Elm Street - Newton Place - Prospect Street - Brightwood Avenue - Embree Crescent - Eaglecroft Road - Clark Street - W Dudley Avenue Residents and motorists should expect delays in these areas and, if possible, plan an alternate route.
