Westfield Police: Unlocked Car Stolen from Driveway Overnight (tapinto.net) — An unlocked vehicle with the key fob inside was stolen from a driveway on the 900 block of Coolidge Street in Westfield early Thursday morning, and another theft occurred nearby two weeks earlier. Police say they’re increasing neighborhood patrols and urge residents to lock cars, remove key fobs, and call 911 about any suspicious activity.

Cranford, Governor Livingston, Roselle Park girls volleyball teams excel (unionnewsdaily.com) — Westfield High School’s girls volleyball team capped a standout season by winning the Watchung Division and reaching the state Group 4 final, narrowly losing to top-ranked Old Bridge.
